To edit an entity in the Strata Collect
application, please follow the guide
below.
The video below demonstrates the steps for
editing an entity.
Step 1: Verify You Are Logged
In
Ensure you are logged into your
account and on the home
page. If not logged in, enter your
credentials to sign in.
Step 2: Navigate to the Entities
Section
From the home page, locate and click the "Entities" tab in the navigation
menu. This will direct you to the Entities
section where you can manage entity
information.
Step 3: Edit the Entity
Find the entity you wish to edit and
click the edit (pen icon) next to
it. This will open the entity’s details,
allowing you to make changes.
Step 4: Modify the Entity
Information
Make the necessary changes to the
entity’s details. You can update any
field, including the entity type and image if needed.
- To
change the entity type, simply select
a new type from the available
options.
- To
update the image, either upload a new
file or drag and drop an image into
the designated area.
Ensure all modifications
are correct before proceeding.
Step 5: Save the
Changes
Once you've made the necessary
modifications, click "Save" to
apply the changes to the entity. The
updated details will now be saved in the
system.
