To create an entity in the Strata Collect application, please follow the guide below.

Step 1: Verify You Are Logged In

Make sure you are logged into your account and on the home page. If you are not logged in, enter your credentials on the login page and sign in.


Step 2: Navigate to the Entities Tab

On the home page, locate and click the "Entities" tab in the navigation menu. This will take you to the Entities section.


Step 3: Create a New Entity

Click the "New" button to begin creating a new entity. This will open a form where you can enter the necessary details.


Step 4: Choose an Entity Type

From the options provided, select the type of entity you want to create. This selection will determine the fields and settings available in the next steps.


Step 5: Enter Entity Details


Fill in all the available fields with the relevant information.

  • Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory and must be completed before proceeding.
  • If you want to add an image, check the "Alternate Image" box and either upload a file or drag and drop an image into the designated area.

Double-check the entered details to ensure accuracy before moving to the next step.


Step 6: Save the Entity

Click "Save" to finalise the creation of the entity. If all required fields are completed correctly, the entity will be successfully added to the system.
